Senior Technical Architect: New York City
   

Qualifications: Reports to the Technical Partner.

Completion of five or six-year architectural degree program.

Five years of progressively responsible experience in all phases of architecture and substantial experience in the construction documentation of large scale projects.

Demonstrated thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs.

Demonstrated practical knowledge of general architectural practice including programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD.

Participates in marketing and business development.

Responsible for project construction documentation, administration of project during construction and leadership of the project team.

Solves complex problems in connection with the architectural design, detailing and coordination of large projects.

Coordinates entire architectural design concept incorporating planning, engineering, interiors, and other required systems.

Oversees the preparation of complete design documents on projects and reviews all construction documents.

Confers with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.

Coordinates work on assigned projects, within group and with other disciplines.

Prepares field observation reports and punchlists.

Attends construction meetings, testing mockups, etc.
