Senior Project Architect (Residential Development): Orange County
   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Support consistent execution of plans by the divisions via:

  • Creation of realistic site-adapt procedures
  • Presentation and training to division development teams (Land, construction, purchasing, marketing, etc.)
  • Consultant support and training
  • On-site support during community planning and construction
  • Lead the change management process for version control and clear field direction.
  • Maintain a matrix of site-adapt use of plans
  • Develop and manage a team of Project Architects as division use of plans increases
Education and experience requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5-year work experience in Architectural field, including regular use of AutoCAD.
  • Strong working knowledge of residential construction techniques and building codes used throughout the nation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate teachable points of view to partners
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting and communicating via AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or SketchUp programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills; able to adapt to rapid change
