Job Summary: Accounting and analysis support for a large commercial real estate development private equity fund of 4 billion dollars.

Qualifications: Outgoing Personality, Strong Communication Skills, Need to have Partnership and Consolidation Experience, Responsible for Financial Statements to investors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all areas of the Fund’s monthly accounting which requires effective communication with various departments such as Treasury, Asset Management, and Acquisitions and Dispositions Departments.
• Assist with the data analysis and validation of information relating to real estate investment transactions by creating system-generated reports and queries to extract information from data sources.
• Monitoring and reporting on the cash needs of the Fund and related entities, which includes management fees to and from various entities, developer fees, capital calls, preferred return calculations and expenses.
• Maintain capital account activities of each partner.
• Oversee book and tax accounting for all entities of the Fund.
• Maintain tax basis financial information for all entities of the Fund.
• Coordinate annual tax preparation with external tax preparers.
• Participate in special projects related to accounting systems, internal/external reporting, and other special division and corporate requests as necessary.
• Opportunity for significant exposure to senior management.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong tax and accounting knowledge
• Strong Excel skills is a must
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented work environment with fixed internal and external reporting deadlines

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in accounting , public preferred, Big 4, or Residential or Commercial Development Company.
• Real estate experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles related to real estate accounting.
• Accounting degree required
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
