Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager in a rapidly growing, privately held ENR 400 Construction Company. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department as well as provide supervision and career development for of a talented, knowledgeable team. The Accounting Manager will also be the primary point of contact for all Timberline systems administration, reporting and training. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all members of the Accounting staff
• Provide detailed General Ledger support in conjunction with the Vice President of Finance
• Timberline System Administrator including: Report design, Process improvement and implementation
• Timberline training
• Month end Modules Reconciliation
• Job cost set up and maintenance quality assurance
• Assist VP of Finance and Executive Management with special projects and analysis
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by VP of Finance and Executive Management

Qualifications:

Required skills include:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting
• 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance; MS Degree would be preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Timberline version 9.2.1
• Prior experience working in a Commercial (GC), Heavy/Civil or Environmental Construction Company
• Solid computer skills including MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel

Desired skills include:
• Experience in the management, supervision and career development of an accounting team
• Knowledge of Florida Lien laws and Notice to Owner
• Total Quality Management
• Experience working with multi-state and offshore accounts
