RCDD Project Manager: San Jose
   

The RCDD Project Manager is responsible for project management and business development in the voice, data and video division. This position is available for a full service electrical contractor with annual revenues over $300M. The company has been in business over 30 years in the West Coast area. This is a full time salaried position with excellent benefits and career path potential for the right individual.

Duties include:

  • Heavy client interaction to determine needs and solutions.
  • Work with client to problem solve & design solutions.
  • Estimate all work to determine job costs.
  • Monitor project progress; track all costs including labor/material/subcontractors.
  • Prepare monthly reports analyzing the accuracy of the budget, schedule, cash flow and manpower forecasts.
  • Meet with the owner and /or general contractor’s representative to review and define project scope.
  • Assure timely completion of project closeout.
  • Effectively direct and coordinate proposal marketing, design and installation activities.
Required Skills
  • 5 years or more of professional experience; a Degree is not required.
  • Experience and communication capabilities in recommending most cost effective alternative consistent with client requirements.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project.
  • Knowledge of major communication vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to motivate strong performance in a team environment.
  • An RCDD is required;
  • Prior experience with VoIP; DSL; CCTV/CATV; some card access; microwave; RF; some PBX; POS systems; some Network infrastructure (hubs, routers, switches, etc.); UPS; data/IR.
