Project Superintendent (Boston)

Project : $100 million project

Demolition, remediation of 1 building with extensive site work on 26 acres.

Construction of 2 new buildings, LEED certified Silver is targeted

Ground breaking mid April

Summary: Minimum of 15 years experience in providing overall leadership of on-site activities including supervision of all construction operations, subcontractors and other construction related personnel on projects at least $100 million in size. This includes ensuring a safe work place and directing the execution of work in accordance with the project schedule, budget and quality goals.

4 year degree preferred with LEED accreditation.

Below grade construction with demolition and remediation experience needed as well as extensive experience in site construction.

This role also involves:

Assisting in the pre-construction phase to develop initial project schedules and sequencing of the Work
Creating logistics plan(s)
Implementing project specific safety plan
Understanding general conditions requirements and managing the work accordingly
Managing layout and field engineering as required
Understanding contract documents to ensure means and methods as well as quality workmanship
Working with project manager in updating cost and reports
Managing schedule and providing two-week look ahead
Identifying and solving problems in a proactive manner
Creating strong client and architect relationships
Executing an efficient punch list program
