Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities of this position include construction supervision, project management, planning and execution, preparation of bid packages, budgets, schedules, and work in progress Manager will participate as one of the Company’s managers in building the quality, compatibility, effectiveness and spirit of the overall sales and management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on all construction related activities;
• Manage all aspects of the design, engineering, permitting, bidding, contracting, and scheduling;
• Maintain files as necessary to properly document all construction activity and project related expenses;
• Responsible for the proper supervision, management, and timely issuance of contracts for architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and vendors for the project;
• Manages and supports consultants responsible for elements of assigned projects;
• Conducts regularly scheduled status reviews with senior management;
• Prepares budgets and presents budget reviews;
• Behaves and produces work product in a professional manner in keeping with the standards of the company and the high quality resort it is developing;
• Develops and updates schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned projects;
• Other duties as assigned.

• 7-10 years experience working in a real estate construction environment preferably a general contractor and/or developer homebuilder with an emphasis on large-scale infrastructure projects;
• Oversee the development of 400k to 1.5 million lots to be sold to builders or custom homebuilders
• Bachelor’s degree Construction Management;
• Civil Engineering or equivalent related experience and education;
• Experience or exposure to all facets of the general contracting and construction management fields;
• Strong organizational skills and written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to function independently and accept direction from other members of the construction management team as necessary;
• Ability to exercise good and cautious judgment and interface with all types of people diplomatically and tactfully;
• Energetic self-starter with strong leadership skills, work ethic and highest level of integrity. Ability to develop accurate and effective budget projections.
