Mechanical Construction Estimator Jobs (Washington DC Metro Area)

The successful Mechanical Estimator job candidate will have the following experience for this position:

At minimum (3) to (5) years of commercial project estimating with an average project size of $7M. It is anticipated that approximately 25 projects per year will be estimated. The Company bid in excess of $500M last year. Individual will have the ability to perform automated take offs of material, systems, equipment, etc. They will report to a Chief Estimator. There is a split in the type of projects estimated with 50% of projects being plan &' spec and 50% are negotiated. Prior experience with Quickpen or other estimating software systems; and prior journeyman/field experience is required. This individual will not be crunching the numbers to produce a final estimate.

Relocation Assistance is a consideration. There is potential growth into Project Management in one of the company’s multiple divisions. This position is available due to growth of the company.
