Summary

Duties
Reporting directly to the project superintendent and project manager, the primary responsibilities require sound technical knowledge of heavy construction engineering. The project engineer is responsible for design of formwork, falsework, erection methods and construction sequences, and application of specialty construction equipment. Responsibility for project critical path scheduling and production cost monitoring are integral to the project team. Project engineers will have supervisory responsibility over field engineers, and support the project manager in maintaining job control and building relationships with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university program and a minimum two years related experience; or a combination of extensive industry experience with post secondary education.
