Group Director of Human Resources (Houston)

   

My client needs a Group Director of Human Resources to support thier new business structure. This individual will report directly to SRVPHR and indirectly to the Group Vice President for their respective line of business (Commercial, Industrial or Residential). The position will be based in Houston. The individual will direct 4-6 HR Managers and 6-15 field craft recruiters. The compensation package is a base salary in the $120-140,000 range and annual incentive target of 20%.

This is a full HR generalist role with principal responsibility for strategic HR planning and execution at the business unit level. They will also be responsible for administration and roll-out of corporate programs such as benefits, compensation/salary administration, performance management, succession planning, etc. I am looking for individuals with a construction background (electrical construction is not a requirement). These individual can also come from outside the construction industry. One of the critical experience factors is having directed HR activities supporting multiple sites (ability to get things done through others without being on-site 24/7).
