Electrical Estimating Manager: San Diego
   

Electrical contractor that has been in business for over thirty years is looking for an estimating manager. Estimating Manager reports to VP of Job Procurement. The estimating manager will work with general contractors on strategic positions on job bids. The manager will direct and orchestrate estimators and take off crews. The manager is responsible for procuring jobs per the annual budget.

Duties

  • Job mark ups
  • Assign estimators to jobs
  • Coordinates Job Walks
  • Responsible for Bid Documents
  • Database accuracy
  • Evaluating, Guiding and Training
  • Budgeting for the Department
  • Oversee Job Start Ups

    • Requirements

  • 10 yrs or more electrical estimating
  • Be able to handle 4-6 direct reports
  • Volume of 60 million a year
  • Commercial work ranging from prime bids, hard bids, and negotiated work
  • Project types range from Commercial, Medical, Schools, Medical Office, and Strip Malls
