The Client is a mid-sized full service Electrical contractor in the Western United States with the corporate office located in the state of California. They have been in business for over 30 years. They currently have a very urgent need for a Chief Electrical Estimator in their California office.

The successful candidate must have ten to fifteen years or more experience in electrical estimating and management. The candidate should have the ability to manage multiple estimates as well as people at one time. A degree is not required. They should have solid experience and a mix of commercial, institutional and government projects including offices; tenant fit-outs; renovations; new construction; universities; high schools, etc.

Experience with hard bids as well as design build projects. This individual could be identified as a soup to nuts, cradle to grave manager. Computer literacy and experience with computer estimating software and job cost tracking are essential.

This key individual will be assisting the Owner in building the office and will be involved in negotiating construction purchases and buyouts; estimating change orders; daily correspondence; everything from project start-up to project close-out. Salary is commensurate with experience and they offer a very competitive compensation program.

There will be annual reviews and potential for continued growth and advancement.
