Job Description:

Overall planning, coordination, and management of division in order to produce efficient and profitable results, or to minimize losses, in order to meet or exceed division goals and expectations; negotiate and acquire land with favorable terms and price; monitor governmental approvals on land under option; monitor construction costs and consistency of construction; evaluate and improve product design; monitor marketing and sales; monitor financial results against budgets with the assistance of the Controller; ensure that we are delivering the best product at the best value with no defects; provide leadership, enthusiasm and positive reinforcement to every Associate.

Maintaining a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings, taking personal accountability and setting positive examples for Associates are necessities for this position. Candidate must proactively face adversity and challenges head on while being committed to providing customers with excellent services and products. The individual should possess a strong understanding of the homebuilding industry and be aware of how strategies, trends and policies work in the marketplace. Exceeding goals successfully and making good decisions based upon analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment is required. The capacity for negotiating skillfully in tough situations, utilizing leadership skills on a daily basis and maintaining positive relationships while under pressure is a must.

Bachelors degree from four-year college or university preferably in civil engineering or business administration; a minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training.
