Leading national retail shopping center developer seeking senior development executive. Must have extensive experience developing large-format shopping centers and strong tenant relationships. Will relocate. Office located in DFW Metroplex.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scope of projects
• Explore opportunities for development, including site selection or redevelopment of existing projects
• Establish and direct project teams
• Coordinate outside resources (architects, consultants, engineers and contractors)
• Coordinate in-house resources (legal, asset management, design and leasing)
• Preparation approval and bottom-line responsibility for budgets and pro formas
• Obtain approvals and entitlement from governmental entities
• Department store negotiations and approvals
• Review pro formas and cash flow analyses
• Responsible for monthly updates to executives on status on all development projects
• Preparation of other financial analyses
• Interview and hire new employees
• Act as liaison between asset management, finance, accounting and the development departments on project status
• Represent development on inter-departmental projects (chargeable hours, lease tracking system, etc.

• Bachelor's degree required. Prefer Architectural, Business Finance degree and/or MBA
• 10 years shopping center development/project development. Prefer department store and/or big box relationships and entitlement experience
• Overall understanding of all areas of development and operations
• Ability to lead project teams
• Ability to manage staff
