Dallas-based real estate services company is seeking a design and project management executive to serve as the development manager's on-site representative for the construction process of a 2-million plus SF heavy equipment manufacturing facility by providing project oversight and high-quality customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary day-to-day project manager for the development manager
• Communicate with and assist the project executive of the company, who has ultimate responsibility for the project
• Review change proposals, proposal requests, requests for information, supplemental instructions and other contract documentation as required on behalf of the Owner's interests
• Attend on-site meetings, approval meetings, conferences on behalf of the Owner and Development Manager. Document and take action on items in Owner's interests.
• Maintain relationships and work with local, state and national jurisdictions to ensure expeditious and successful delivery of project goals and objectives
• Monitor and ensure schedule performance and quality workmanship of contractors
• Assist Project Executive in cost analysis, document review and pay applications reviews
• Serve as an information resource by coordinating owner vendors, participating in construction meetings, resolving disputes, providing ongoing feedback, and coordinating project punch lists and close-outs.
• Prepare monthly management reports that include schedule updates, budget updates, cash flow projections, etc.
• Provide effective team leadership during all phases of the project from design to commissioning.

• Related Bachelors degree or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum 5 years directly related experience with construction/design background (heavy manufacturing facility construction experience preferred)
• Strong consultative, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent understanding of metal fabrication facilities paint and finish facilities and systems
• Understanding of robotic process automation and robotic material handling systems as it relates to facility architecture and engineering
• Some local and overnight travel required.
