Company Overview:

Premier provider of electrical and communications contracting solutions to the commercial and industrial, and service markets. The Company has been serving the Florida market for over 20 years.

Duties include:

• Ensure that the books and records of the business unit in accordance with GAP.
• Accounting principles with particular attention to all aspects of the percentage of completion method of revenue recognition.
• Developed, implement and maintain strong financial controls and procedures to insure the integrity of the financial reporting
• Interact with and home office staff on matters related to timely completion of financial reporting matters including monthly results, quarterly reviews, yearend audit, annual budgets and the preparation of federal and state tax returns among other things.
• Review operating process and procedures for the business unit and recommends and implement value added improvements.
• Coordinate the management’s response to internal audit findings and recommendations with the Business Unit President and Regional Controller.
• Review capitol need for the business unit and monitor actual expenditures.
• Ensure company records and documentation is maintained in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Company’s internal control policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, CPA required
• 10 plus years experience in financial management and reporting with responsibility for implementing and maintaining strong financial controls and procedures. Construction industry or percentage completion revenue recognition experience
• Good Oral and Written communication skills
• Willing to travel as needed
