Architecture Project Manager: Midwestern U.S.

Position Summary:

This position is a key member of the team, providing project leadership, successful project execution, as well as cultivating business opportunities with clients. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management and direction of assigned project(s) from marketing through completion. This position is directly responsible to the client and the firm for the successful execution of projects; including, the meeting of project goals, client service, quality of work performed, utilization of staff, marketing reputation of the firm, contract management and profitability.

Job Requirements:

Degree in architecture or related field from an accredited program. Registered Architect in the United States or National Council of Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) certified. If applicable, complete necessary continuing education credits per year to maintain state licensure and/or professional organizations. Minimum fifteen years architectural experience in the private sector with ten or more years project management experience with science focused facilities. Projects completed with multiple clients ideal. Proven record of effective project and team management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced communication and presentation skills. Proficient in AutoCAD and the ability to develop computerized tools to support planning efforts. Proficient with MS Excel, MS Project or Primavera; Photoshop and PowerPoint highly desirable.
