Senior Estimator: Southern California

Large Southern California General Contractor is looking for a stellar Senior Estimator to join this growing company. The contractor is a top 200 on the ENR and growing rapidly throughout Southern California.

The contractor is looking for an extremely ambitious person who is not afraid to work hard to move into a Chief Estimator position. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
• 5 to 20 years of experience in ground up estimating projects
• Team Player who is adaptable
• Management experience is a plus, with experience mentoring and training
• Solid previous work experience
• Experience in the bid and submittal process on projects ranging in size from $20 Million-$300 Million plus
• Comparable experience with a large top ENR Contractor
• Familiar with bidding all 16 divisions
• Ideal individual is someone who can work behind the scenes on the nuts and bolts of a project, as well as someone who can make presentations in front of a client or subcontractor with good communication and presentation skills.
