Senior Electrical Estimator (New York City)

The Client is a mid-sized full service union Electrical Contractor in the New York City area. They have been in business for over thirty years and perform work in the New York City area. They currently have a need for a Senior Electrical Estimator due to growth in the company.

The successful candidate must have over ten (10) years of experience in Electrical Estimating experience in a diversity of project types and sizes, ranging in size from $1M to $20M. They MUST have industrial, institutional and commercial experience and be familiar with both longhand & computer estimating. This candidate must be able to ramp up quickly; this is not a position for someone who needs to be trained.

They should have experience in the plan & spec, design-build and value engineering arenas. They should be experienced taking the lead when necessary; able to train and mentor others; possess the ability to delegate; have a track record of success; the ability to plan and multi-task.

A degree is not required, but would be a plus. In addition this individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
