Retail Broker (New York City)

   

Our client is a growing, 20 year old, real estate firm located in lower Manhattan that is looking for a seasoned real estate broker to head up their Retail Brokerage Division. They are looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, strong retail leasing experience, and a broad base of retail contacts in the New York metro marketplace. You will have two people working for you and be responsible for increasing the revenue and productivity of the division. As the person responsible for the team, you will receive compensation on every deal the firm consummates.

The properties that this organization has been brokering historically have been predominantly in the East Village and Lower East Side of NYC where they enjoy a dominant market position; other assignments have ranged from 34th Street south to the Battery. The deals are primarily store front retail, almost entirely exclusive listings, with typical rents ranging from $3K- 20K per month. The best candidates will have several years of experience in retail leasing/brokerage, have relationships with both landlords and tenants, have marketing and web savvy, and ambitions to make a great deal of money.
