Project Superintendent (Boston)

Project : $100 million project
Demolition, remediation of 1 building with extensive site work on 26 acres.

Construction of 2 new buildings, LEED certified Silver is targeted

Ground breaking mid April

Summary: Minimum of 15 years experience in providing overall leadership of on-site activities including supervision of all construction operations, subcontractors and other construction related personnel on projects at least $100 million in size. This includes ensuring a safe work place and directing the execution of work in accordance with the project schedule, budget and quality goals.

4 year degree preferred with LEED accreditation.

Below grade construction with demolition and remediation experience needed as well as extensive experience in site construction.

This role also involves:

• Assisting in the pre-construction phase to develop initial project schedules and sequencing of the Work
• Creating logistics plan(s)
• Implementing project specific safety plan
• Understanding general conditions requirements and managing the work accordingly
• Managing layout and field engineering as required
• Understanding contract documents to ensure means and methods as well as quality workmanship
• Working with project manager in updating cost and reports
• Managing schedule and providing two-week look ahead
• Identifying and solving problems in a proactive manner
• Creating strong client and architect relationships
• Executing an efficient punch list program
