2 Project Engineers: Boston
   

Summary of Position:
Reports to the Project Manager and provides project management support for one or more projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager and Project Superintendent with daily, weekly and monthly project activities consisting of the following:

  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Document Control (changes, addenda, bulletins)
  • Pre-op Meetings
  • Subcontractor and Owner Meetings
  • Material Delivery Logs
  • Manage the closeout process
  • Punch list
  • Owner manuals
  • Warranties
  • Training of Owner Personnel

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Publish quality “It Happened To Us”
  • Perform weekly safety walk-thrus
  • Assist with miscellaneous buyout, schedule updates, change management, cost meeting prep
  • Attend PE meetings, PM meetings, and training sessions

Core Competencies:

  • Proficient in Timberline PM Software, Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of Schedule software
  • Thorough understanding of scheduling principles and logic
  • Negotiation experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences
  • Thorough understanding of the Change Order management process and Billing and Payroll processes
  • Good Written and Oral Communications Skills
  • Strong Initiative
  • Problem Solving abilities
