Human Resources Executive: General Contractor (Washington DC)

Company Description: Established, $200m general contractor in Washington DC Metro searching for a senior level human resource executive.

Qualifications: Candidate will work directly with senior managers on business planning process to develop and implement strategies to staff positions required meeting growing talent needs. The successful candidate will have a college degree and at least five years of work experience. Factors for consideration will include candidate’s experience with targeted executive search-level recruiting, human resource law and practice, managing a small staff, managing outsourced providers, and a general knowledge of the construction industry. Experience with screening and coaching tools will also be valued. Demonstrated success managing key business initiatives, driving outsourced service providers to results, and relating well to people from very diverse backgrounds will also be important. Finally a high level of professionalism, strong hands on work ethic, and very high interpersonal, verbal and written skills will be important in the selection criteria.
