Heavy Highway Project Manager (Los Angeles)

Summary
Our client is one of the largest and top ranked Heavy Highway and Bridge builders in the California, and has grown to become a nationally recognized firm constructing some of the largest and most important transportation and infrastructure projects in the state of California.

Duties
Candidate must have experience managing heavy highway projects with contract values ranging from $5,000,000 to $100,000,000. This position will be responsible for the overall management of the assigned project(s). Primary responsibilities include planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure that project progresses and is completed on schedule and within budget. Supervise project personnel and provide technical advice to resolve problems. Responsibilities also include management of project staff, project financial reporting and profitability, and development of good working relationship with Owner and subcontractors. Our client requires that the successful candidate must have Cal-Trans project experience, be very familiar with CT specifications and requirements, very familiar with CPM process, Claims process and SWPPP process. Candidate must have a very strong personality, be very aggressive, good communication skills and a great work ethic.

Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university program and a minimum seven to ten years related experience; or a combination of extensive industry experience with post secondary education.
