Project Manager – Health Care & Institutional Projects (Portland, ME)
   

Summary of Position:
The Project Manager provides overall project management direction on one more projects. The Project Manager is responsible for careful observance of corporate policies, procedures and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes project management staff responsibilities
  • Establishes project objectives and goals
  • Works with the Project Superintendent to control and monitor construction progress
  • Manages the financial aspect of the project including cost reporting, forecasting, Owner requisitions, payables, and subcontractor requisitions and changes.
  • Represents the company in project meetings
  • Prepares and maintains project schedule (as assigned)
  • Develops and maintains client and A/E relationships at the project level (business development)
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supervises one or more Project Engineers
  • Adherence to Company Safety Policies including subcontract and insurance requirements
  • Performs Site Safety Inspections on their projects
  • Weekly update reporting on all projects
  • Assist Project Executives with Project Engineer reviews (annual and 6 months)
  • Review and provide Project Management processes and procedures to ensure alignment with corporate vision

Qualifications:

4 year degree in Construction Management
10 years + in Institutional and Healthcare project management experience in projects in size of $15 mill +
