Equipment Manager (Afghanistan)
   

Company Description:
Will develop policies and procedures to establish, manage, operate and maintain the company's fleet of construction equipment and vehicles in Afghanistan. Prepare and managing annual budgets, billing projects for equipment usage, purchasing equipment and spare parts, developing maintenance schedules for each piece of equipment, developing the country wide organization, staffing project sites, etc.

Duties

  • Manage a multi-million dollar fleet of Light and Heavy Equipment vehicles.
  • Establish and manage the necessary controls to ensure a cost effective organization.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets
  • Develop annual rental rates.
  • Develop and manage the staff.
  • Manage the equipment logistics to support projects across the country.
  • Manages the purchase of equipment and/or spare parts.
Requirements

Supervision of a team of Mechanics and fleets of construction equipment.
Managing an equipment rental company in a country with a variety of languages, cultures, and perspectives into one effective organization.

A Mechanical Engineering and/or Business degree required
Approx 5-8 years experience in heavy equipment operation, repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
