Glass/Curtain Wall Project Manager (Surburban New York City)

Our client is a family owned business with a 70-year history in the metal and glass industry. They are one of the largest metal and glass companies in the New York metropolitan area and the largest supplier of structural glass systems in the country. They have over two decades of experience in the design and installation of various building enclosure systems including, stick built curtain walls, pre-glazed unitized curtain walls, structural glass facades and custom metal and glass enclosure systems. As their company continues to grow they are looking to bring on a seasoned Project Manager with experience in the glass business to help them handle their ever increasing workload.

Top candidates must have all of the following:

• Technically proficient in reading architectural and or manufacturers shop drawings.
• Good organizational skills, preparing schedules, ordering samples, tracking submittals, ordering materials, coordinating deliveries
• Ability to handle multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity
• Must have glass industry experience. (curtain wall, specialty structure, etc.)
• Proficient with a computer - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, read Autocad
• Willing to work long hours if necessary
• Must be willing to work “in our family business”
