Assistant Project Manager (Washington DC)
   

Great opportunity to become involved with an excellent firm in a unique niche. 20 year old, mid-size contractor, working in hotel renovation niche is interested in hiring an APM to fill the space created due to a promotion from within. This firm has a strategic growth plan to double their size in the next five years. They have well-established subcontractor relationships nationally. The company has reputation for taking care of its people; employees, and clients. They have excellent benefits and work environment with a corporate office centrally located in Northern VA.

  • Driven, assertive individuals
  • Ability to read blueprints and get involved with detailed take offs
  • Excellent people skills, attention to detail, and good organization skills
  • Comfortable with handling inventories, ordering and scheduling deliveries of materials as well as updating project schedules
  • Ability to travel as necessary due to needs of projects
  • Degree in construction, architecture, or interior design preferred
