http://www.boston.com/"Suffolk Construction Co. Inc. of Boston said it has been awarded an $8 million contract for a new Waterfront Operations Small Craft Facility at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn.
In a press release, Suffolk said it is partnering with AECOM Technology Corp., a global firm that provides such services as architectural services, to construct the 13,498 square-foot facility; the facility will consolidate port operations activities into one central building. The facility will include administrative space, classrooms, two high bays for boat maintenance, and a painting booth."
